100% recommend for a date night

Comfortable beds, decent restaurant, attentive staff, with a pleasant surprise of a welcome drink upon arrival that set a nice tone for our stay and made our exploration of the city much easier thanks to its central location.

City's main attractions and the waterfront. I appreciated the cleanliness of the amenities, which stood out during my stay. the limited dining options were a bit disappointing, especially during evening hours when choices felt restricted.

Lekker brekkie included—such good bacon and eggs! The ocean view from my balcony was a real winner. Staff were friendly and made me feel right at home.

Had a quick stay here while visiting the Cairns Aquarium, which was a short ride away. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the beautiful views from my Mountain View Corner room. The pool was a nice feature to relax after a long day. I did notice some ants in the room, which was a bit bothersome.

Numerous issues plagued the stay, including broken lifts—only one operational and causing unnecessary hassle. Wi-Fi connectivity was practically non-existent in the room, forcing use of the lobby for any online activities. The bathroom featured a mildly concerning warning about the fire alarm, highlighting a lack of basic ventilation, and towels were not consistently supplied, requiring visits to reception for replacements.

It was just a good match for a walk in the evening in Cairns with good value. The room had a nice view of the ocean, which made relaxing on the balcony enjoyable.

The Ocean View Suite provided breathtaking, uninterrupted ocean views that were a highlight of the stay. Friendly staff set a welcoming tone, and the breakfast buffet featured fresh local products that fueled the day. the room showed signs of age, with worn furnishings and some electrical issues that were concerning. The location felt less safe at night.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, a lovely saltwater pool, and helpful staff. I still remember how they assisted me with car service on my first visit. I highly recommend it for a romantic escape.

Great ocean view and nice saltwater pool, but Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room.

the cleaners were pretty good and brought fresh towels when needed. the location is nice with a decent view of the esplanade. the staff was helpful when our aircon broke. rooms have nice block out shutters and the elevators were alright most of the time.

it was like a halfway house and the noise was awful with yells and screaming all night, not to mention bed bugs. got really worried about safety with all the sketchy people around.
